Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox field manager Scott Pickler tied the all-time Cape Cod Baseball League wins record with No. 539 as the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox beat the Chatham Anglers, 3-2, Friday night at Red Wilson Field.
Week 1 Recap: Y-D finds footing quickly, ends week tied for first in East
Despite starting the season 0-3-1, the Red Sox went 3-0-1 over their next four games once the bats got going. Through those first four games, the Red Sox put up just six runs. In the next four, they scored 22 times.
