The Yarmouth Summer Celebration will once again return in 2013, with a wide assortment of fun activities for the entire family taking place across the town later this month. The Y-D Red Sox have ties to three of these events: the Sandy Feet 3 Miler (June 26), the Yarmouth Summer Celebration Beach BBQ (June 28), and the Y-D Fireworks display at Red Wilson Field (June 29).
Sandy Feet 3 Miler (June 26)
This inaugural run/walk along the beautiful Bass River Beach is one of many events going on this week and is walker and family friendly. The ice cream social includes 5 scoops per person of your favorite locally made ice cream including Cape Cod Creamery, Little Caboose, and more!!! Superstars in the making, the Y D Red Sox players will be on hand ? come meet these Cape Cod Baseball League players before they get famous! BMX Stunt Champ Chris Poulos will also be there to amaze the crowd with his tricks. A great run/walk, a refreshment stand, and all of these great attractions ? make sure you bring the whole family for a day of exercise and entertainment!

Summer Celebration Beach BBQ (June 28)
Join us for the party on June 28th, at Bass River Beach, on Nantucket Sound in South Yarmouth! The 2nd Annual Event features a local Raw Bar, the famous Captain Parker?s New England Clam Chowder, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, Cape Cod Potato Chips, ice cream treats, wine, beer and soft drinks. We?ll have a beach bonfire and musical entertainment too! The multi-talented DJ, Yo-Yo Champion, dance instructor, motivational speaker and entertainer, Brett ?Ooch? Outchcunis, will get the party started and keep it going all evening!
Bring your friends, bring your family, come meet new people and enjoy the spectacular beachside setting on Nantucket Sound, wonderful food, and terrific entertainment!

Y-D Fireworks Display at Red Wilson Field (June 29)
It?s back! Don?t miss the 3rd annual Fireworks Display from Red Wilson Field on the night of June 29th. With the success of the last two displays, you won?t want to be anywhere else. Come see the Y-D Red Sox face the Brewster Whitecaps at 5:00, then stick around for our fireworks. This event is free and great for the whole family!
Proceeds generated from these events will support the Y-D Red Sox. Proceeds from the Sandy Feet 3 Miler will also support the One Fund Boston.
