Cole Carrigg, Luke Shliger, Jared Lyons, Bryce Robison, Luke Jewett, Hunter Haas, and Homer Bush Jr. will all represent Y-D at Saturday’s All-Star Game at Wareham’s Spillane Field. Carrigg and Shliger will be in the East Division’s starting lineup.
With Chatham’s Ben Hampton dominating through the first four innings Friday night, Taylor did the same for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He matched Hampton out-for-out until, finally, the Sox made a breakthrough. Jonny Long’s two-run homer in the top of the fifth broke the deadlock, and the Red Sox cruised to a 4-1 win over the Chatham Anglers at Veterans Field.

For most of the night, the Y-D offense couldn’t threaten the Harwich staff, and the 7th inning rally came up two runs short at Whitehouse Field.
Yost controlled the flow through 6.2 innings against Falmouth Wednesday night, limiting the Commodores to just four hits and ceding only an unearned run while keeping traffic off the basepaths via ground balls. Cole Carrigg drove in two at the plate, and the Red Sox earned a 3-2 win over the Commodores at Guv Fuller Field.
