After facing deficits of 5-0 and 7-5, the Y-D Red Sox were able to salvage a point, scoring two in the bottom of the ninth to come away with a 7-7 tie.

Seven Red Sox named to 2022 Cape League All-Star Team; Carrigg and Shliger named starters
Cole Carrigg, Luke Shliger, Jared Lyons, Bryce Robison, Luke Jewett, Hunter Haas, and Homer Bush Jr. will all represent Y-D at Saturday’s All-Star Game at Wareham’s Spillane Field. Carrigg and Shliger will be in the East Division’s starting lineup.
Long’s HR, Taylor’s pitching power Red Sox to third-straight win
With Chatham’s Ben Hampton dominating through the first four innings Friday night, Taylor did the same for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He matched Hampton out-for-out until, finally, the Sox made a breakthrough. Though the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox entered the bottom of the ninth trailing the Chatham Anglers by a run, they scored the tying run on a throwing error before stranding the bases loaded in the ninth, settling for a 6-6 tie Sunday night at Red Wilson Field.
Red Sox, Mariners battle to 6-6 tie in 7 innings
The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox battled back from 2-0 and 4-3 deficits to take a 6-4 lead into the sixth inning, and although they allowed the Harwich Mariners to tie the game in the sixth, they held on to secure a 6-6 tie with the Mariners Friday night at Red Wilson Field. The game was called after seven innings due to darkness.
