After a comeback victory against Bourne, the Sox fell to Orleans before rattling off wins against Chatham and Cotuit and sweeping Falmouth in a doubleheader on Sunday.
Despite starting the season 0-3-1, the Red Sox went 3-0-1 over their next four games once the bats got going. Through those first four games, the Red Sox put up just six runs. In the next four, they scored 22 times.
For the second straight night, Y-D fell to Brewster Whitecaps, this time during the home opener at Red Wilson Field.
Despite eight hits in the first six innings, the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox failed to scratch a run across all game at Stony Brook Field Monday night, falling to the Brewster Whitecaps, 3-0, for YD’s first loss of the summer.
