Josh D. and Bob Phillips pose with the 7000th donut burger served at the Backstop Grille, Monday night.
In 2004, the Backstop Grille at Red Wilson Field introduced the Sinker and Hurler hamburgers. Since then, thanks to Dunkin? Donuts, our burger customers have been offered a free upgrade to one of these great taste treat sensations. The Backstop Grille was the first Cape Cod Baseball League concession stand to reach out to meet the snacking needs of its fans with the Sinker and Hurler burgers. Tonight, during the Red Sox game against Cotuit, the burger boys upgraded their 7000th donut burger.
The Y-D Red Sox and the Backstop Grille congratulate Josh D. from Portland, CT, as he upgraded his cheeseburger to a Screamer.
Besides the great tasting burger, Josh received a certificate, Y-D Red Sox accolades, plus prizes and merchandise from the Grand Slam Shoppe to commemorate this momentous occasion.
